From the moment I walked into Dr. Bhatts Pompano office I felt a comfort. Dr. Bhatt is very accommodating. I told her that I was on a time-line as I would be gone for 1 month beginning on the 26th of July. Dr. Bhatt was able to fit me into her very tight schedule. Before I was brought into the er to have my Gallbladder removed, Dr. Bhatt came to me & assured me that everything would be okay. I would recommend her to anyone who needs their Gallbladder removed.

The best treatment I've received for my hemorrhoids issue from Dr. Bhatt in Pompano Beach Florida. Her team as well as her attitude, professionalism, care, and concern are really appreciated. She constantly asks me if I have any questions and sees me both before and after my colonoscopies and assured full care. She called me immediately to address my follow-up inquiry, which I really appreciated. She not only spared my life, but she also showed me such kindness and supported me at every turn. Her surgical skills are great, especially with Robotic Surgery and using the Minimally Invasive Surgery and she genuinely cares about her patients. The same people work for her. Everyone is there to support, assist, and go above and beyond to ensure you get what you need. I heartily endorse.

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Astha clinic was extremely disappointing. From the moment I walked into the clinic, the service was subpar. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, showing no interest in assisting me. Additionally, the wait time was excessive. I had to wait over an hour past my scheduled appointment time without any explanation or updates from the staff. When I was finally seen, the doctor seemed rushed and did not give adequate attention to my concerns, leaving me feeling undervalued and without clear answers. To make matters worse, the clinic's facilities were dirty and poorly maintained, which raised serious concerns about the hygiene of the place. The lack of professionalism and care for patients was evident in every aspect of my visit. I definitely would not recommend Dr. Astha Clinic to anyone and hope they can significantly improve their services and customer care in the future.

Colonoscopy preparation
During a colonoscopy procedure, a thin, flexible tube called a colonoscope is inserted through the rectum and guided through the colon. The colonoscope has a light and camera that allows the doctor to examine the colon’s lining for any abnormalities. Before the procedure, you will be given a sedative to help you relax. Once the sedative takes effect, the doctor will gently insert the colonoscope, carefully maneuvering it through the colon, and examining the walls for polyps, tumors, and other signs of disease. If any abnormalities are detected, the doctor may remove them or take a biopsy for further examination. The procedure typically takes around 30 minutes to an hour, depending on individual circumstances.

Colonoscopy Procedure
  • By performing colonoscopies, we can find these precancerous polyps and remove them before they have a chance to transition into a cancer.
  • The development of more than 75-90% of colorectal cancer can be avoided through early detection and removal of precancerous polyps. If people took advantage of screening tests, the vast majority of deaths from colon cancer could be prevented.
  • Screening tests like colonoscopies—in which a Colorectal surgeon examines inside the rectum and colon using a long, lighted tube called a colonoscope—can detect early-stage colorectal cancer before symptoms develop.
  • Removing polyps during colonoscopy can not only prevent colorectal cancer, but also reduce deaths from the disease for years, according to a new study.
  • Most colon cancers develop from precancerous polyps, which are abnormal growths from the wall of the colon. If these precancerous polyps are left alone, they have the potential to grow into a cancer. All rights reserved, patient privacy policy applied.
