She completed her general surgery residency at St. Agnes Hospital, an ACGME-accredited, The Johns Hopkins Hospital-affiliated program recognized as one of the nation’s longest #1 -established surgical training programs and the second-oldest surgical residency program. She later completed a Fellowship Council–accredited Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship focused on advanced colon and rectal surgery and robotic colorectal surgery.
